About Daiichi Language Centre

Daiichi Language Centre is an institution located in NAGPUR; a major city in central region of INDIA.


Who we are ?

Daiichi Language Centre (DLC) is an upcoming centre for all types of services related to foreign languegs in central India. Currently, we are focused on the services of Japanese and Chinese languages. Established in the year 2010, we were previously functioning in the name of 'Daiichi Japanese Language Solutions' until 2016. DLC is now the most active centre for services related to Japanese Language in Nagpur.
DLC aims to promote Japanese-Language, Japanese-Culture and Japanese traditional moral values throughout Central India. We are focused to deepen the historical India-Japan cultural ties, and also wish to involve in exchages among students / youth in modern Indian and Japanese society. We at DLC are committed to organize various Indo-Japan cultural-exchange programs in order to increase participation from the general citizens.
Operating mainly from Nagpur, we also provide services in the nearby districts of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh.

What we do ?
 
Daiichi Language Centre offers following services:

Training : With well experienced and trained teachers; huge collection of study materials & audio visual learning aids, DLC has come up as a centre having largest amount of Japanese-language study material in central India. We also provude Chinese language training facility. On demand training sevices can be arranged for other foreign languages too, through our allied trainers.  [Visit "Training" page for more details]

Interpretation : On-site as well as in-house interpretation services are provided on a reasonable rate. This service is available throughout central India, on demand. [Visit "Translation & Interpretation" page for more details]

Tour Guidance : Tour assistance as well as guidance for Japanese tourists visiting central India is available.

Other miscellaneous services : DLC also welcomes the enquiries for services such as software localization, website translation, Japanese language DTP, Guidance for 'Study in Japan', etc.

● Background: B.Sc. (PCM) - Nagpur University.
● Certified JLPT Level 2.
● She has been teaching Japanese language since 2007, and at Daiichi Language Centre from 2010.
● Was awarded a scholarship to participate in Short-term Training Program for Japanese Language Teachers, conducted from January to March 2011 (2 Months), at The Japan Foundation's Japanese Language Institute, Urawa, Japan.
● Also works as a translator-interpreter for Japanese language. Expertise in translation of scientific documents, graphs and statistical data.
● She is also proficient in Chinese Language and has qualified HSK level 4.

● Also works as a translator-interpreter for Chinese language.

● Background: M.Sc. (Computer Science), M.A. (Linguistics).
● Certified JLPT N1 (Highest Level) - twice.
● Qualified J1 level of The Business Japanese Proficiency Test (BJT).
● Passed level 6 of The Japan Kanji Aptitude Test (Kanken).
● He has been teaching Japanese-Language since 2010.
● Was awarded a scholarship to participate in JENESYS Special Training Program for Young Japanese Language Teachers, conducted from January to March 2012 (2 Months) in Japan.
● Was invited to participate in Long-term Training Program for Japanese Language Teachers, conducted from September 2014 to March 2015 (6 months), at The Japan Foundation's Japanese Language Institute, Urawa, Japan.
● Also works as a translator-interpreter for Japanese language. Expertise in Machine installation, Production line startup, localization, translation of GUI for software, mobile apps, and cloud-based applications. Also proficient in web-page translation.
● Has worked with software projects in reputed companies involving technical Japanese language translation.

The new logo of DLC depicts 5 callouts in 5 different colors, each representing a language. The callouts are well-harmonized in a circular shape so as it represents a flower. This symbolizes that each language is like a petal in a flower, and when brought together, they foster flowers of harmony and peace in the world.
